In our second day of Peace Week here at St. Francis, Embrace our Diversity, we reflect on forgiveness, a servant’s heart, respecting diversity, supporting and encouraging each other and understanding different cultures. We also had the honor of having our Coadjutor Archbishop Michael Byrnes visit our campus.
Archbishop Byrnes shared a light breakfast with our Principal Dr. Lisa Baza-Cruz and Vice-Principal Mr. Anthony Quitugua and met with our office and maintenance staff before visiting the students in their classrooms. Archbishop Byrnes had a chance to experience and interact with each of the different class grades, students had a chance to ask the archbishop questions and he in turn shared his background with them.
The visit closed with a song lead by Mr. Joseph Capulong and the SFCS students, Salve Regina. It was a memorable visit and we look forward to seeing Archbishop Byrnes at our 68th Anniversary Mass at St. Francis Church this Friday, September 29, 2017 at 8:30am. Si yu’os Ma’ase Coadjutor Michael Byrnes for blessing us with your presence.
